NOTE: Please watch to the end. After my speech, the crowd spontaneously started chanting, “Giuliani Square! Giuliani Square!” It was amazing. Also, please note that the audio fades in the final 34 seconds of my speech (2:31 – 3:05 min.), so I added subtitles on November 23, 2020, when I posted it on Twitter. RP

On July 10, 2006, I made a three-minute speech against the New York Times, in which I proposed changing the name of Times Square to Giuliani Square. A film editor friend recently did a great job of re-editing the available video clips, which were shot from two different angles, by two different bloggers. The sound fades in some parts. It’s an oldie but goodie. For earlier, pre-edit versions, go here and here.
